Ballymaloe Cookery School is a wholly privately funded school. As a result unfortunately most national and international funding bodies are not in a position to provide funding for students.
We offer a small number of bursaries to students wishing to attend who are Irish, EU or UK citizens. This bursary can be up to €2,500 towards the cost of the course and accommodation.
If you wish to apply for this please send an email after you have applied for a place on the course to financialsupport@cookingisfun.ie with subject 'Bursary' and provide us with details of your reasons for requesting a Bursary.
If you do not recieve the Bursary and wish to cancel you place we will be able to provide you with a full refund of any deposits paid.
In Ireland the National Organic Training Skillnet does provide part funding for some of our Ballymaloe Organic Farm School classes. You must be an Irish resident and Tax payer to take advantage of this funding.

Unfortunately we are not in a position to provide a bursary to any United States Citizens.
Additionally, we know from previous enquries that the usual bodies in the US government that offer funding of overseas education will not provide funding for our 12 Week Course.
Unfortunately we are not in a position to provide a bursary to citizens of any other country.
